What Is Laser Hair Reduction?

Laser hair reduction targets the hair follicle directly, using light energy that's absorbed by pigment in the hair and converted to heat. That heat disables the follicle's ability to produce new hair, while leaving the surrounding skin undisturbed. Because hair grows in cycles, a single session only catches the hairs that happen to be active at the time, which is why a series of treatments, spaced to target each hair during its active growth phase, delivers the most noticeable and lasting reduction.

Benefits of Laser Hair Reduction
  • Smoother Skin, Longer-Lasting Results: Each session in a series builds on the last, targeting hairs at different stages of growth for reduction that outlasts shaving or waxing.

  • Precise, Targeted Treatment: Light energy is directed at the follicle itself, so treatment areas, from small spots to full Brazilian coverage, are treated consistently and efficiently.

  • Minimal Downtime: Sessions fit easily into your day, with no extended recovery needed afterward.

  • Safe, Effective Technology You Can Trust: Performed with our Cynosure ICON IPL by trained estheticians, with your treatment plan built around your skin and hair type.
